An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinarian to step into a Medical Director position in Henderson, NV, combining hands-on clinical medicine with the opportunity to shape medical standards, mentor colleagues and support the continued development of an established companion-animal hospital.
With compensation up to $140,000, a predictable daytime schedule and strong clinical support, this position is well suited to a veterinarian looking to progress into leadership while continuing to practice medicine, surgery and dentistry.
The Hospital
This full-service small-animal hospital provides comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care within a collaborative and well-structured clinical environment. Veterinarians work alongside credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants and client-service professionals, providing strong support across appointments, diagnostics and procedures.
The hospital also maintains established referral relationships for patients requiring advanced or specialist care, allowing doctors to provide appropriate continuity while managing a broad general-practice caseload.

The Leadership Opportunity
As Medical Director, you'll remain clinically active while helping guide medical quality, team development and the continued improvement of hospital operations.
•Establish and maintain high clinical standards

•Lead clinical case reviews and knowledge sharing
•Encourage continuing education and professional development
•Maintain an active appointment caseload
•Perform general surgery and dentistry
•Provide support with complex case management
•Partner with practice leadership on scheduling and workflows
•Contribute to clinical resource and equipment planning
•Provide input on medical inventory and formulary decisions
•Support recruitment and onboarding of clinical team members
•Maintain appropriate state, DEA and OSHA compliance
•Promote excellent client communication
•Support community relationships and outreach
•Foster a collaborative and accountable hospital culture
