TIRE TECHNICIAN Barstow, TX, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1002 Duties will include: Inspect and assess tires for damage, wear and tear. Repair punctured tires and replace worn-out tires Mount and balance tires on wheels Perform basic brake repairs and maintenance Possess basic knowledge and use of automotive diagnostic equipment Record and maintain tire inventory. Report inventory levels to supervisor to ensure optimal stock on hand Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and well-organized work area Use various hand and power tools to perform tire services. Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and at times in austere locations Available to work long hours and respond to afterhours call outs Required skills: Knowledge of tire types, sizes and tread patterns Ability to use various tire service equipment and tools Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy tires Time management and organizational skills The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills for inventory management Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Valid drivers license and clean driving record Previous experience in automotive repair or tire service is preferred Completion of tire technician training program or certification is a plus Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
