Senior FP&A Analyst

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 + 10% ICP Bonus
Location: Houston, TX

Schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote; same schedule each week

Position Overview:

Seeking a highly analytical Senior FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision-making for NOV's Houston Repair and U.S. Marine & Construction businesses.

Must-Have Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident — no sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• College transcript must be submitted with resume
• 5+ years of FP&A/Corporate Finance experience
• 5+ years of Revenue Accounting experience
• Strong managerial accounting experience
• SmartView and Oracle Cloud experience required
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling skills
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience partnering with Operations and translating financial data into actionable insights
• Stable work history required

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial analysis
• Perform actual-to-budget, actual-to-forecast, and prior-year variance analysis
• Analyze revenue, margins, expenses, working capital, and profitability
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses
• Prepare KPI reports, monthly business reviews, and executive presentations
• Partner with Operations to identify risks, opportunities, and cost improvements
• Support revenue recognition, audits, internal controls, and SOX compliance
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Corporate Finance
• Support process improvements and special financial projects

Preferred

• Cost Accounting / Standard Costing experience
• Oracle EPM experience
• CMA, MBA, or CPA

Training: Approximately 3–6 months depending on experience.
