Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at Disney Springs is seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential to the daily success of our kitchen, supporting line cooks and chefs through precise preparation, organization, and execution of high-quality ingredients. Position Summary The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, executing foundational cooking tasks, and maintaining an organized and sanitary work environment in support of daily service. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and upholding the quality, freshness, and presentation standards associated with the Wolfgang Puck brand.

Essential Job Functions

Food Preparation & Execution Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, and basic cooking techniques Follow standardized recipes and prep lists to ensure consistency and quality Assist with preparation of sauces, stocks, dressings, and garnishes Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food items according to FIFO standards

Organization & Station Support Set up and maintain prep stations with necessary tools, ingredients, and supplies Support line cooks during service as needed Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work areas throughout shifts

Sanitation & Safety Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and storage areas regularly Follow all local health department regulations and company safety procedures

Teamwork & Professionalism Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with culinary leadership and teammates Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and reliability in a fast-paced environment Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times

Qualifications Previous prep cook or kitchen experience preferred Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen fundamentals Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
