About the Position
We are a growing insurance agency in Owatonna looking for a motivated, personable, and goal-oriented Insurance Sales Representative to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is motivated by achieving goals, and wants to build a career where their effort can directly impact their income.
You do not need to be an insurance expert on day one. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. We will provide training and help you develop the skills needed to be successful.
What You'll Do

• Connect with prospective and existing customers by phone, text, email, and in person
• Identify customer needs and provide insurance options that fit their situation
• Quote and sell Auto, Home, Renters, Life, Health, and other insurance products
• Follow up with leads and prospective customers
• Proactively reach out to potential customers and set appointments
• Conduct insurance and financial protection conversations
• Build long-term relationships with customers
• Meet individual and team activity and sales goals
• Maintain accurate customer information and follow-up notes
• Work closely with the rest of the team to provide a great customer experience

Previous sales, customer service, insurance, banking, or financial services experience is a plus, but not required .
Compensation

• Base salary plus Commission & bonuses
• Expected total annual compensation of approximately $50,000–$60,000
• Opportunity to earn more as your production and skills grow

Licensing
Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required for the position. If you are not currently licensed, we can discuss the licensing process during the interview process.
Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• In-office position in Owatonna, MN
