Empire Coating Inc is currently seeking a Production Racker to join our team. As a Production Racker you will play a crucial role in maintaining quality, safety, and productivity through a hands-on approach. Specifically, the role focuses on following customer requirements to rack parts in preparation for subsequent processes such as anodize or paint. Additionally, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work directly with our Leadership Team, with a clear path for career advancement and professional growth.

Our capabilities include Chem Film, Paint, Powdercoat, Industrial Printing, Masking, Solid Film Lube and Blasting. Position Overview

• Racking and Unracking Parts:
  • Placing or hanging metal parts on racks to prepare them for various finishing processes, such as plating, anodizing, powder coat or wet paint.
  • Unrack parts after processing and remove masking materials after processing.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect parts before and after the finishing process to ensure they meet quality standards and reporting any defects or non-conformances to supervisors.
• Packaging:
  • Package completed parts by following customer specifications, prints and guidelines to ensure proper packing of parts.
• Job Monitoring:
  • Utilize computer system to track job progress and scan in and out of jobs.

• Safety Compliance :
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, especially when working with chemicals, tools or other equipment.
  • Operate, maintain and clean manufacturing equipment and work area.

Qualifications:

• This is an entry-level position ; no previous experience is required. Some manufacturing or related experience is a plus but not required!

Total Compensation Package:

• Wage
  • $17.00+ per hour plus a 90-Day Performance Review for a prospective increase!
  • Compensation depends on the selected candidate's experience.
