Post-Acute Care Medical Director Opening Cortland, NYSyracuse 35mFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking BC/BE Physician (IM/FM/EM or related) for Medical Director role in Cortland, New YorkPosition Highlights:Full-time schedule, 4–5 days per weekSkilled nursing facility setting with medical directorship responsibilitiesFee -for-service compensation model with additional monthly stipendDedicated night call coverage for work-life balanceStrong clinical leadership and multidisciplinary team supportOpportunity for autonomy, leadership, and program developmentResponsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient assessmentsDevelop and manage individualized care plansMonitor patient progress and coordinate careCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teamEducate patients and families on health managementMaintain accurate and timely documentationProvide medical directorship and oversee clinical quality initiativesQualifications:Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related fieldActive New York license and DEA or ability to obtainExperience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic setting preferredCompensation & Benefits:Estimated compensation $232,538 to $264,046 annuallyUncapped productivity income potentialMonthly medical director stipend401(k) retirement planMedical, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible spending and health savings accountsPaid professional liability insuranceFlexible time off Estimated pay range/amount is $199435 to $331069.
