Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)Avantor is seeking a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) to be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the building and facilities.This is a full-time position located at our Paris, KY office.Work Schedule:3rd shift, Monday-Friday, 11pm-7:30am with OT as needed.Training will be on day shift for the first 90 daysHow you will thrive and create an impact:Maintains building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.Performs maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.Answers security alarm calls as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.What we're looking for:Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associates or technical school preferred.Experience: 3 years applicable direct experience in a similar position.Additional Qualifications:Skills in mathematics, personal computers and related applications are vital.Interpersonal and communication skills are important.Knowledge of HVAC systems required.Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort:The work environment characteristics and physical effort described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
