Large, full-service florist (sales > $2M annually) with 45 years serving the Roanoke Valley.

We are seeking a Part Time Floral Designer to head our creative team at George’s Flowers, a beloved local institution located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Floral Designer to join our team at George's Flowers. We take pride on being an cutting edge, upscale, always busy, flower shop. And are currently seeking a part-time experienced Floral Designer to fill orders accurately while maintaining company COGS and Labor costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure consistent high standards in design, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the team on creative direction and shop growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Professional training and significant experience as a floral designer (3+ years preferred in a full-service shop).
• Strong leadership, training, and team development skills.
• Proficiency in a wide range of design styles for everyday, events, and photography.
• CFD or AIFD accreditation is a plus , but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with seasonal peaks.
