RN - Nurse Manager

Position: RN Nurse Manager

Shift: Days

Status: Full-Time

If you are an RN who desires to take the next step in the career ladder and use your experience to assist in mentoring, training, and educating your own team of caregivers, while coordinating and overseeing the care of your residents, the role of RN Nurse Manager may be your next calling. At Dove Healthcare - Wissota Health & Regional Vent Center, you will assist the Nurse Manager in working with employees, residents, family members, and other professionals to coordinate all aspects of providing person-centered care.

Assist in the Following Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day to day activities of assigned residents and employees

• Coordinate, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing services provided to each resident using clinical competence

• Review and audit compliance with the resident's plan of care and changing needs

• Ensure appropriate staffing patterns are in place

• Evaluate employee duties and needs

• Hold employees accountable for following policies and procedures

• Provide a safe, comfortable, home-like environment for residents

• On-call rotation every six weeks

• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Current licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing

• Previous experience in related field

• Ability to prioritize duties in a constantly changing environment

• Effective management skills

• Customer service oriented with residents, employees, families, and other agencies

• Good problem solving skills

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to accept and give directions

• Work well in a team environment

• Have a desire to make a difference in people's lives

*Full-time: 30+ hours per week

Part-time: 20-29 hours per week
