The Home Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in delivering products to designated locations. This section describes the primary/essential responsibilities that this job performs.

• Handle products safely.
• Conduct physical inspection of product to identify damages goods, perform touch-up and repair as needed on product.
• Place products in designated storage areas safely.
• Prepare and load customer delivery trucks.
• Unload and safely place products in customer home.
• Understand and comply with all store policies and procedures.
• Remove all the packaging materials from the location.
• Communication and documents customer concerns to Warehouse Support.
• Communicates credit, damage and essential information to the Customer Service Department.
• May be required to complete shipping/receiving paperwork
• May be required to complete Department of Transportation paperwork.
• Maintains a clean and organized warehouse area.
• Maintain a professional image.
• Assist driver as needed with vehicle inspection, routine maintenance and fueling of vehicle at approved locations.
• Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.
• Maintains reliable attendance.

Education: High School, Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Clean Driving record - 3 years, NO CDL needed, Must be 21 years of age, Department of Transportation physical examination, 1 year driving experience, Driving certification class, including a road evaluation test

Licenses or Certifications Valid Driver's License, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Excellent interpersonal skills, Effective time management and organizational skills, Work independently as well as in a team environment, Document management system, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Maintain confidentiality, Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints, Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment, Work professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect, Display empathy, understanding and patience with employees and external customers, Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries, Follow all OSHA and Company established safety rules and procedures
