Community Canvassers and Team Leaders: Make Healthcare More Affordable Hiring immediately; $21–23/hr + bonuses We are gathering signatures to qualify two municipal ballots to create Citizens’ Advisory Healthcare Action Committees that will improve access to and affordability of healthcare in our local area. Healthcare costs are rising, wait times are getting longer, and barriers to care are increasing across our communities. These measures will establish a formal process for residents, patients, healthcare workers, and community stakeholders to identify challenges, amplify our voices, and advocate for solutions that strengthen local healthcare systems. Our team will be out in the community speaking to voters to give communities a stronger voice in shaping the future of healthcare in the places they live. Canvassing is all about connecting with people face‑to‑face, having meaningful conversations, and inspiring them to take action on important issues. We spend our days outdoors in public spaces to engage with community members. Get paid well! Petition Circulator positions start at $21/hour. Team Leader positions start at $23/hour. We offer overtime pay, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. Locations: Eau Claire, WI; La Crosse, WI We are hiring immediately. All positions run through July, with possibilities for advancement afterwards. Shifts run from 10:45 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 7 days a week, with the possibility to work part‑time or full‑time. Canvasser Responsibilities ($21/hr) Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect petition signatures from voters Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills Strictly follow the campaign’s safety protocols Strictly adhere to all local and state circulator laws Team Leader Responsibilities ($23/hr) The Canvasser Responsibilities plus: Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day and debriefing with them at the end of the day Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be safe and successful Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work The ideal candidate Passionate about the campaign issue and fostering democracy Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible Open to new challenges and are interested in building their campaign skills Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community Can work and problem‑solve collaboratively as necessary Prior experience working in a public‑facing role like canvassing, petitioning, customer service, sales, or service industry is a plus Pay : $21/hour for Petition Circulators and $23/hour for Team Leaders. We offer driver bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. Full‑time staff may have the option to opt into our company healthcare plan. All employees must be eligible to vote in the state of WI, which requires: Being at least 18 years of age or older. Being a citizen of the United States.
