About the Role

Cleburne Ford is seeking a customer-focused and driven Automotive Service Advisor to join our active service team in Cleburne, TX.

In this role, you will serve as the main link between our customers and our service technicians. You will greet incoming customers, identify vehicle maintenance or repair needs, explain recommendations clearly, and ensure every guest receives prompt and transparent communication. If you have experience in dealership sales, service writing, or automotive customer support, we offer the support and steady traffic you need to grow your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Consultation: Greet service customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and create detailed, accurate repair orders.
• Service Recommendations: Walk around customer vehicles, review service histories, and explain necessary repairs or scheduled maintenance in a clear, transparent manner.
• Customer Communication: Keep customers informed throughout the day with status updates, price quotes, and estimated completion times.
• Shop Collaboration: Work closely with service technicians and dispatchers to ensure efficient repair workflows and accurate time management.
• CSI & Retention: Follow up with customers after repairs are completed to deliver high-quality service and maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer or in a high-volume retail automotive sales/service role (Ford experience is a plus).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong phone etiquette.
• Computer Skills: Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Xtime.
• Customer Focus: Proven track record of providing strong customer service and achieving sales or retention goals.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record (Required).
• Pre-Employment: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check and drug screening.
