Substitute Custodian

Lake City Public Schools is seeking dependable and flexible individuals to serve as substitute custodians. Substitute custodians help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming school environments for students, staff, and families across the district. Responsibilities include general cleaning and custodial support such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning. They also handle trash removal and basic building upkeep, assist with event setup, and perform seasonal duties as needed. Supporting safe and efficient building operations is also part of the role. Qualifications include a strong work ethic and reliability, the ability to work independently, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical duties associated with custodial work.
