License: Active RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted

Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; CCRN preferred

Must-Have: - 2 years ICU experience - BLS - ACLS

Description: Unit consists of 16 beds. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:2. Assignments are based on acuity and skills. All ICU equipment is utilized, including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitor. Documentation is performed using the Meditech system. Scheduling is flexible, provided a month in advance. Floating may occur as needed. Special Skills/Experience required: Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocol is preferred. Experience with Meditech is preferred. Procedures performed on the unit include: Central line placements, bedside procedures such as thoracentesis, dialysis, catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU procedures. Patient experience with surgical populations, especially oncology, is required.

Dress Code includes: Scrub color for RNs is royal blue. Nail policy requires clean and healthy nails, with no artificial nails, gel, or next-gen nails. Hair should be neat and clean, with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab. Tattoos should be covered whenever possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited.
