Posted Salary Grade Exempt - G20 Retirement KTRS Contact Person Melanie Steier Job Summary/Basic Functions This Admissions Counselor position is responsible for recruitingqualified undergraduate in-of-state and out-state students to theUniversity by developing and implementing data-driven strategies,conducting market analysis, and using predictive modeling to guideoutreach. This role serves as a primary liaison to schoolcounselors and community organizations while building strongrelationships with prospective students and their familiesthroughout the college search process. The counselor manages anassigned territory through a Client Relationship Management (CRM)system, ensuring consistent follow-up with inquiries, applicants,and admitted students. Communication takes place across multipleplatforms, including phone, email, written correspondence, socialmedia, and presentations. The position also involves traveling tocollege fairs at the state, regional, and national levels, visitinghigh schools in designated markets, and participating inUniversity-hosted recruitment events. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Master'spreferred. Experience: One year of related work experience isrequired. Previous experience as an Admissions Counselor is preferred. Licensure & Certifications: Valid statedriver's license is required. Preferred Qualifications: Job Duties 50% - Identify and recruit undergraduate students to theUniversity. - () 30% - Counsel prospective students, families and othersregarding admissions and enrollment processes. - () 15% - Develop, coordinate and execute recruitment strategiesand provide support for key recruitment initiatives in designatedregions. - () 5% - Work in cooperation and collaboration with otheruniversity departments and complete all other duties as assigned. -() Sponsorship This position is not eligible forvisa sponsorship.
