We are hiring an experienced Full Time Senior Line Cook to join the culinary team at Stella Van Buren - an upscale Italian American Steakhouse located on the lobby level of the Westin Milwaukee Downtown. In this high-impact line cook role, you will work in a fast-paced, open concept kitchen environment, executing back-of-house operations to the highest culinary standards at one of Milwaukee's premier fine dining destinations. Shifts for this role are 3:30pm-11:30pm. The ideal candidate is an experienced line cook or senior cook with proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques, a passion for food quality, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, upscale restaurant kitchen. What You'll Do

• Work on the line in an open concept kitchen at Stella Van Buren
• Execute back-of-house (BOH) operations following F&B procedures, health codes, and federal guidelines
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times
• Help maintain food cost and labor cost targets
• Check ingredient freshness; uphold recipe standards and portion-use records
• Positively influence guest feedback through consistent food quality
• Foster a respectful, cooperative team culture

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment
• Proficiency in sautéing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, and breakfast cookery
• Culinary degree or apprenticeship preferred - not required
• Ability to stand and work at a fast pace for extended periods
