Job Title: Registered DietitianGoldbelt Glacier is accelerating healthcare delivery and providing superior force health readiness across the military, federal, and civilian landscapes. Goldbelt Glacier is committed to providing transformative and comprehensive health operational capabilities to support customers across scientific, clinical, technological, and program management areas.The Registered Dietitian shall develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive nutritional readiness program designed to help Service Members meet military body composition standards (in accordance with AR 600-9) and improve overall health and performance. To achieve this, the Contractor shall provide a multi-tiered approach: delivering targeted, mandatory remedial nutritional counseling to Service Members who fail body composition standards; providing proactive, evidence-based nutritional education to the force; and offering voluntary household nutrition planning to support the overall health of military families.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Provide individual, couples, family, and limited child/adolescent counseling services.Provide evidence-based treatment for stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and other behavioral health needs.Support military Families with deployment, reintegration, communication, and military lifestyle transitions.Provide counseling to children and adolescents experiencing stressors related to a parent's deployment or military service.Manage an active clinical caseload and prioritize direct, in-house clinical care.Assess client needs and provide appropriate treatment, follow-up, and documentation.Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records in accordance with applicable privacy and professional requirements.Identify circumstances requiring additional clinical resources and coordinate recommendations for external referrals in accordance with program requirements.Collaborate with other readiness professionals to support holistic Service Member and Family wellness.Provide outreach, education, and behavioral health programming as appropriate.Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to applicable ethical, legal, and clinical standards.QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Evidence-based mental health counseling and therapeutic techniques.Individual, couples, family, and youth counseling.Knowledge of military-related stressors, deployment, reintegration, and Family dynamics.Assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and clinical case management.Strong communication, interpersonal, and crisis-management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.Minimum Qualifications:Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Preference shall be given to candidates possessing the Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) credential. The Contractor must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Army Regulation (AR) 600-9 (The Army Body Composition Program) and Army Field Manual (FM) 7-22 (Holistic Health and Fitness). The Contractor shall develop and deliver evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and performance nutrition education. These intervention strategies must be specifically designed to maximize Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) readiness and ensure personnel achieve and maintain strict compliance with military height, weight, and body composition standards.Minimum of two (2) years of professional dietetics experience.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete the required background investigation and security screeningPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited program.Pay and Benefits At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
