Project Superintendent

Job TitleManage and schedule foremen and subcontractorsAssist estimators and engineers with quantities and productionsDevelop and maintain positive client relations (owner, clients, consultants, public)Coach, supervise and train foreman and field employees on the project site(s)Establish performance and production goals for project teamsConfer with management and engineers, inspectors and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methodsManage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulationsExecute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budgetReview project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as neededImplement the Company policies and proceduresAssist with On-the-Job TrainingJob RequirementsMinimum of 5 - 7 years of bridge experience in Heavy/Highway/Bridge constructionExcellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communicationMust possess knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications, and reportsMust be able to think independently and solve problems effectivelyOSHA Competent person certificationMust have an excellent driving recordThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
