This role is ideal for an operationally focused freight professional with strong Ocean Freight experience and a solid understanding of international logistics operations. Exposure to Air Freight operations would also be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the branch, overseeing day‑to‑day operational performance, driving customer service excellence, supporting commercial growth, and ensuring operational profitability across the business. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the commercial team to support branch revenue and gross profit targets Support the delivery and execution of the branch growth strategy Drive profitability across Multi Modal operations Operations Oversee the day‑to‑day management of branch operations Lead and support the Ocean Freight operations team, with additional oversight of Air Freight activity where required Ensure customer service levels consistently meet and exceed expectations Maintain operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, customs procedures, and industry regulations Manage shipping line allocations and contract space effectively Oversee operational financial processes including month‑end preparation, DMR/CIMS workflows, invoicing, and cost control Identify and implement operational improvements and best practices Requirements Strong Ocean Freight operational background is essential Air Freight operational experience would be highly advantageous Experience managing customer relationships and operational KPIs Knowledge of customs processes and international freight compliance Excellent leadership and team management skills Experience using freight forwarding systems and operational finance processes #J-18808-Ljbffr White Recruitment
