Travel Electrophysiology Technologist - $2,394 per week

Job Summary Electrophysiology Technician (Travel) – Washington, D.C. Job ID #1418794 Start Date: 06/22/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Hours: 36 per week | Shift: 12‑hour days | Employment Type: Travel Pay: 12‑hour shifts with tax‑free stipend to be determined. Responsibilities Follow physicians’ orders; assist with catheter lab procedures and contribute to cardiac diagnosis within scope of practice. Demonstrate clinical expertise in sterile technique and serve as scrub personnel. Continuously monitor ECG for abnormalities; report emergent or urgent rhythms to the physician operator and other team members. Monitor and record intracardiac and intravascular pressures. Maintain ongoing communication with patients throughout the procedure to ensure comfort and safety. Demonstrate competency in arrhythmia identification, hemodynamic changes, and all interventional procedures. Document procedures thoroughly and accurately using the lab‑specific documentation system. Practice radiation safety per protocol. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent electrophysiology experience. Certification: CCI (RCES or RCIS), BLS; ACLS and PALS if applicable. State‑specific licensing required when applicable. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. #J-18808-Ljbffr TotalMed
