Lead individual and group drills focused on the fundamental skills of your assigned position group. Assist the Head Coach and Coordinators in executing daily practice plans, including scout team coordination. Support sideline operations on game day, including play charting, player management, or providing booth feedback. Conduct and support practice sessions that improve athletes’ skills, stamina, and technique while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship. Support the physical, mental, and emotional growth of players, emphasizing academic accountability and core school values. Adhere to all MIAA rules and AKF student, employee, and athletic handbooks. Assist with maintaining inventory of equipment, uniforms, and first aid supplies; support setup and breakdown of practice equipment and upkeep of team spaces. Work closely with the Varsity Head Coach and Athletic Director regarding all aspects of the program. Model AKF Character virtues at all times and help instill a competitive, team‑oriented mindset in all athletes. Requirements and Certification Maintain current certification through the MIAA. Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification. Have previous experience as a player and/or coach in football. Successful completion of a CORI and SAFIS background check. Stipend Details Position/Activity: Assistant Football Coach Stipend Amount: $3,200 (gross, pre‑tax) Stipend Period: August 2026 through end of athletic season Payment Schedule: Paid in one installment on 11/27/2026 ($3,200) Flat‑rate amount and not based on hourly work unless otherwise required by applicable law or specific grant. Stipend Eligibility MTRS eligibility is based on the individual’s MTRS status. Certain stipends may be considered part of regular compensation and creditable toward retirement benefits, subject to MTRS guidance.
