Sr. Director, IT M&A Integration
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc
Senior Director position leading IT integration strategy and execution for Thermo Fisher Scientific's mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Accountable for end-to-end portfolio management from due diligence through full integration, with dual reporting to IT leadership and the Integration Management Office.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end IT integration for acquisitions from due diligence through complete system integration
- Manage IT M&A portfolio financials including budgeting, forecasting, and synergy realization reporting
- Build and mentor IT integration program and project management teams across multiple concurrent deals
- Establish governance structures, dashboards, and reporting cadences for executive visibility
- Develop and refine IT M&A methodologies and playbooks using continuous process improvement
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading IT integration for M&A transactions
- Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream technology integrations
- Strong financial acumen with budget management and synergy tracking experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional IT teams
- Experience with IT due diligence, TSA management, and integration governance
- Knowledge of infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data integration practices
