The Work This position is for a Software Engineer to support training systems sustainment and development for C-130J, CV-22, other high fidelity Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs), and the Mission Rehearsal Operation Center (MROC). This position is located at customer facilities at Hurlburt Field, Florida and may require occasional travel including both CONUS and OCONUS destinations. As a member of our Software Engineer team you will: • Work within an integrated product team of Hardware, Software, Systems, and Test Engineers to maintain and update Air Force Flight Simulators and the MROC •Provide development, integration, and sustainment support for the Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) mission rehearsal systems. •Support LVC Mission Rehearsals. Deploy and configure live, virtual, and constructive environments for scheduled rehearsals. Monitor system health, troubleshoot runtime issues, and provide rapid resolution during exercises. • Develop software solutions for flight simulators and the MROC • Integrate new technologies into various systems • Support requirements analysis, design, development, integration and test of real-time software This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
