Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, providing direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications. Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self‑care techniques. Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, software, and electronic health record systems, and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.
