Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week | Expected 2 weekends per month

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered occupational therapy services across an Acute Inpatient Unit and a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Provide rehabilitation services to patients recovering from neurological injuries and surgeries in an acute care setting
• Provide geriatric rehabilitation services to elderly patients with a variety of rehabilitation needs in the SNF setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams to support and improve patients' functional outcomes
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Float to the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit as needed

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from an accredited program
• Active California Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of neurological disorders and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills
• This facility is a nicotine-free environment; candidates must test negative for nicotine/cotinine (exceptions may be considered for prescribed nicotine replacement therapy)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neurological rehabilitation or acute inpatient care
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and SNF care
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
