Job Overview A member of the surgical team, acting under the direction of a Registered Nurse, who works with the surgeon and RN in delivering patient care and assuming appropriate responsibility before, during and after surgery. Qualifications: Required Qualifications:Required:HighSchooldiplomaorequivalentCompletion of an OR Technician training program2 – 3 years of experienceMust have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases and traumaExcellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)Must be able to make calls.
