Flat Rate Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Flat Rate Technician to join our growing Reconditioning Shop at Hyundai of Trenton! The ideal candidate will have experience working on various makes and models and be comfortable performing repairs, maintenance, and minor diagnostics.

The technician should be goal-focused, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with a strong commitment to quality work. If you have automotive technician experience and a desire to grow your career, we want to talk to you.

Flat Rate Technician Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose repair needs
• Perform quality repairs and maintenance on all makes and models
• Complete assigned reconditioning work efficiently and accurately
• Perform repairs including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and other vehicle systems
• Identify and communicate additional repair needs
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Continue learning new technical information and repair procedures

Flat Rate Technician Requirements:

• Automotive service technician experience required
• Experience working on multiple makes and models preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Clean driving record
• Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications a plus
• Automotive technical school graduate a plus

Education: High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience: Automotive technician: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
