Benefits Company parties Competitive salary Dental insurance Employee discounts Free uniforms Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Training & development Vision insurance Salary range of $18+ per hour based on experience 9-hour workday with a 1-hour lunch break Paid holidays and paid time off School closed for winter break from Christmas Day until New Year's Day Full support from our directors, including planning/resource time Provided Wonder of Learning Curriculum with guidance from our Curriculum Coordinator on weekly lesson plans Health, dental, and vision insurance Discounted childcare Training and development opportunities Responsibilities Supervise classroom and co-lead all classroom activities throughout the course of the day Observe children’s interests and work with co-teachers to develop creative ideas for implementing the Wonder of Learning curriculum Develop weekly lesson plans alongside our Curriculum Coordinator Feel a sense of accomplishment as you experience the laughter and wonder of children participating in activities you planned Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions Engage with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession Qualifications Associate/Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred At least 1 year of teaching experience in a classroom setting At least 1 year of experience working with infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members Works cooperatively alongside all co-teachers and school resource teachers Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures Is highly motivated and takes direction well Ability to complete weekly lesson plans and carry them out within the classroom Must be committed to following Goddard and state licensing guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and education of all children Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children Qualifying letter from NC DCDEE (We will help you apply if you do not already have one!) #J-18808-Ljbffr The Goddard School
