In this role, you\'ll play a vital part in providing exceptional medical care and compassionate support to our animal patients and their owners. Responsibilities: Assist veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and surgeries Restrain and handle animals safely and humanely during treatments Prepare exam rooms and ensure a clean, sanitized clinical environment Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Collect and process laboratory samples including blood draws and urinalysis Communicate with pet owners regarding care instructions and follow-up appointments Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation Requirements: Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred Comfortable handling and restraining animals of all sizes and temperaments Knowledge of basic veterinary medical terminology and procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Compassionate, dependable, and a true team player High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary assistant certification a plus About Us: Benson Animal Hospital PA has been a trusted name in veterinary care for the Benson, NC community, providing high-quality medical services for beloved pets.
