Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound exams encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work in partnership with radiologists and other physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document all procedures and keep patient records up to date in the electronic medical system
• Commit to ongoing education regarding new ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
