Director of Operations - public accounting

Job Description Overview A very fast-growing nationwide Accounting CPA Firm with multiple offices across the US is hiring a Director of Operations in Miami to help streamline its processes and operations to accommodate rapid growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with experience in an operations capacity at a public accounting firm and a proven track record in multi-site operations management, leadership, and designing and implementing firm-wide operations. This position must work onsite in Miami. Duties Design and lead all unified operational and administrative aspects firmwide across all offices Oversee senior leadership team and provide guidance for practice managers and administrators Drive workflow and process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity and to ensure compliance Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and partners Ensure effective project management practices are in place Required Experience 10+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in a Director of Operations or similar role 2+ years of experience in an operations capacity at a public accounting firm required Strong background in operations management, workflow/process improvement, business development, and strategic planning Demonstrated ability to directly manage and lead teams and drive organizational success through process improvement initiatives Experience in compliance for accounting / CPA firms Company Description Our client is a renowned firm in engineering, architecture, construction, environmental, and consulting, providing comprehensive services in the energy sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
