The Sales Strategy and Operations team works closely with sales leadership, providing insights into strategic planning, sales optimization, and operational support. You will engage with various cross‑functional teams, including finance, employee success, marketing, and operations. This role is high‑impact and dynamic, requiring strategic thinking, precise execution planning, and successful implementation. Your projects may span from strategic initiatives to operational efficiencies, touching on critical areas like Go‑To‑Market strategies, Salesforce product playbook creation, tooling, data integrity, market segmentation, sales pipeline, and performance reviews. As a successful candidate, you'll leverage data to foster insights, deliver strategic recommendations, create scalable assets, and spearhead execution and organizational changes. You'll blend business intuition, insightful questioning, sales leader input, and curiosity to perform impactful work that identifies trends and insights across the organization. Sample projects include assessing global market opportunities, developing scalable reporting infrastructure, contributing to product growth strategy, market segmentation, sales pipeline management, and performance metric reviews. What You'll Do Be the primary expert on data and analytics, providing strategic recommendations and insights through compelling, data‑driven storytelling to influence key stakeholders. Design and implement executive‑level dashboards and self‑service reporting tools to track KPIs across Nextgen products. Oversee the complete development of curated datasets and scalable reporting pipelines using Snowflake and internal tools like Tableau Prep and Airflow. Facilitate and automate operational rhythms such as QBRs, APMs, G4G, and monthly business reviews through high‑quality insights and visuals. Collaborate across functions—including finance, sales programs, operations, and product—to align on objectives and inform critical decisions. Partner with teams to standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks to ensure consistency throughout the organization. Tools & Skills You'll Use Advanced proficiency in SQL (Snowflake), dashboarding in Tableau, and foundational data modeling skills. Comprehensive understanding of sales‑related datasets and metrics, including ACV, OP, pipe generation, account management. Experience in managing data sets, establishing reporting layers, and delivering scalable BI solutions. Ability to convert business inquiries into structured analyses and transform complex results into actionable insights. What We're Looking For 3‑5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence. Strong business acumen along with a passion for data and analytics. Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and influence others without direct authority. Detail‑oriented mindset, with the capacity to think strategically. A proactive attitude, coupled with a curiosity to explore and make improvements. Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting to executive audiences. In specific cities, such as those in the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas, the base salary range for this role is $147,400 - $202,600 annually.
