Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative -Primary Care - Southfield, MI

Amgen seeks a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative to promote pharmaceutical products in the Detroit-area territory. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to healthcare providers, executing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and achieving territory sales targets through both in-person and virtual outreach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver current clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and communicate benefits to drive appropriate product utilization
• Achieve territory sales targets through branded messaging, planned educational programs, and in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and maintain customer relationships, customize interactions based on customer needs, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy effectiveness, conduct territory analysis, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support brand building while maintaining focus on patient outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's degree with 3 years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or equivalent with Associate's/high school and 6-8 years experience
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industry experience preferred
• Product sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, or related therapeutic specialties preferred
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge and strong adaptability to core competencies in sales planning and results-driven execution

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base
