CNC Mill Operator

Job Title: Mill Operator

Location: Chatsworth

Schedule: M-F 3:15-11:45pm

DOE $20+$26 DOE

Responsibilities

• Remove workpieces from machines and verify their conformity to specifications using measuring instruments such as microscopes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Ensure proper alignment of workpieces on machines using rules, gauges, or calipers.
• Manually move cutters or materials, or use automatic feeding mechanisms to mill workpieces to specifications.
• Observe machine operations and adjust controls to ensure adherence to specified tolerances.
• Select appropriate cutting speeds, feed rates, and depths of cuts based on metal properties and shop mathematics.
• Study blueprints, layouts, sketches, or work orders to determine workpiece specifications and establish tooling instructions, tools and materials needed, and sequences of operations.

Work Environment

You will be working in a heavy manufacturing setting, where precision and safety are paramount. The environment is equipped with advanced machinery and tools, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatsworth, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chatsworth,CA.
