Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Portland, Maine. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services across various units, including NICU/PICU, adult, and critical care, in a busy healthcare setting. Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS preferred; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required for NICU; 3+ years of experience; current certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered; located in or willing to commute to Portland, Maine.
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, acute care pediatrics, adult critical care, and emergency department experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required for NICU, PICU, adult acute and critical care, and emergency departments.
• Additional Information: The assignment includes working every other weekend and participating in the call rotation, approximately one call shift per month or as required by the department. The facility covers the entire hospital with a team of 14-16 Respiratory Therapists, utilizing equipment such as Drager V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, Vapotherm, and electronic medical records system EPIC. Reasonable scheduling preferences may be considered, but only approved requested time off in the contract is guaranteed.
