Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: CPI or HWC preferred, will train; BLS Must-Have: Experience in behavioral health Description: Traveling registered nurses will work in a behavioral health setting. Candidates must have experience with adult patient populations. They will provide care for patients with conditions such as schizophrenia, dementia, manic bipolar disorder, psychosis, dual diagnosis, medical detox, depression, and anxiety disorders. Common duties include monitoring and managing patients, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The facility consists of multiple units with varying patient ratios. Nurses should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient safety and effective communication. Flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to changing situations are essential qualities for candidates. Scrub color is not specified; any color scrub is acceptable. Position is for contractor replacement.
