- # Predictive ToxicologistApplyremote type: Partially Remote / Hybridlocations: RTP, NCtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: JR101525**Essential Responsibilities**· Organizing and providing oversight to internal and external meetings including project meetings, forums/workshops, and conferences· Develop, write, and edit scientific and technical documents, including workshop reports and scientific manuscripts for publication· Identification, collection and organization of all available information on alternative toxicological assays including literature and internet searches of public access databases· Evaluation of statistical data· Presenting information in public forums· Providing support to commercial safety assessment projects**Additional Responsibilities**· Technical writing and editing· Work in a team environment with a professional and positive attitude· Other duties as needed**Management Responsibilities**· None**Minimum Acceptable Qualifications**Education:1. B.S. in a related scientific field (preferably toxicology)2. M.S. in a related scientific field (preferably toxicology)Experience:1. 4+ years in scientific writing and editing (preferably toxicology)2. 1+ years in scientific writing and editing (preferably toxicology)Skills:o Excellent organizational skills.o Strong, proven technical writing and editing skills.o Ability to exercise independent judgmento Function well independently or in a team environment.o Excellent communication skills.o Computer skills with MS Word/Excel/PowerPointo Aptitude or willingness to learn basic coding (such as R or Python) for data organization and pipeline automationPersonnel Supervised· NoneSupervision Received· Occasional supervision· Frequent instructions· Frequent discretionary authorityWorking Environment· Hybrid in office/from home· Occasional weekend, holiday, and evening work may be required· Occasional travel required#LI-JM1#LI-Hybrid*\*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.
