Halligan LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. We are looking for an attorney with at least four years of family law experience who is passionate about helping clients navigate divorce, child custody, parenting time, support, and other domestic relations matters. $120,000 - $175,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse family law caseload involving divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, and property division matters
• Maintain organized case files, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with court procedures and firm standards
• Advocate for clients in emotionally sensitive situations while pursuing practical and effective resolutions
• Develop case strategies, evaluate legal risks, and provide practical recommendations aligned with client goals
• Conduct legal research and analyze Colorado statutes, case law, and procedural rules to support litigation and settlement strategies
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, parenting plans, financial disclosures, settlement agreements, and other family law documents
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing compassionate guidance and timely updates throughout the legal process
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and outside experts to build strong cases and achieve favorable outcomes
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations while advocating for their legal and personal interests

Qualifications:

• Must reside within the Denver Metropolitan Area and be available for court appearances and client meetings as required
• Strong understanding of Colorado family law, including divorce, child custody, support, parenting time, and property division issues
• Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience representing clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and contested family law proceedings
• Proven ability to draft legal documents, motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements with accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active cases
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in the Colorado Bar
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active cases in a deadline-driven environment
• Minimum of 4 years of family law experience handling domestic relations matters
