Purchasing Data Entry Clerk

: Description:
As a Purchasing Data Entry Clerk, you will use detailed and organization skills to process a high volume of data entry. The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial plumbing supplies and be responsible for entering data accurately and efficiently into our database. This position will report to the Plumbing Purchasing Manager and will support the purchasing team with clerical functions of the department.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data into the databases
- Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with creating purchase orders
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding updates on materials
- Assist with inventory management as needed
- Maintain purchasing records and files
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of data entry or clerical experience
- Above average attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM alphanumerically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
