We specialize in brass engraving and are seeking a full time Vertical CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable operating CNC equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This person must be dependable, flexible, and capable of managing shifting priorities throughout the workday. A strong attendance record is a must for this position. All employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, and business need.RequirementsExperience operating vertical CNC machines, including tool loading and program executionAbility to read and follow job data sheets and machining specificationsProficient in the use of depth gauges to verify engraving depth and micrometers to check material thicknessExperience with hand tools including hammers, deburring tools, and related shop equipmentAbility to safely operate a bandsawMust be able to stand on your feet for the duration of an 8-hour shiftMust be available to work Saturdays until noon when called uponMust wear required personal protective equipment at all times: steel toe boots, ear protection, and safety glassesMust be able to lift brass sheets and other materials weighing up to 40 lbs.Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with frequently changing prioritiesMust be able to pass a drug screen and background check
