Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12s Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience Recent acute care experience Ability to handle a 6 patient ratio Travel experience Description: We are seeking a compassionate and positive Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Telemetry unit. The position requires floating to other units as needed. The unit consists of adult and geriatric patients. You will care for patients including those with total joint surgeries, surgical patients, and acute on chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD. You will also care for patients dealing with alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Candidates should possess a can-do attitude and demonstrate strong clinical skills. Preceptor and charge experience is a plus. The dress code includes black scrubs for both the top and bottom. Open shoes are not permitted. We look forward to your application.
