Job Description

We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (Lean Champion) Aerospace industry with metal fabrication.

Location: Corona, CA

Summary

Responsible for improving manufacturing processes, driving Lean initiatives, and optimizing production efficiency, quality, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures
Analyze workflows, layouts, and workforce utilization for efficiency
Conduct product testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
Collaborate with engineering, sales, suppliers, and vendors
Maintain manufacturing documentation and systems
Estimate production time, labor, and costs

Lean Leadership

Lead Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives
Conduct audits and ensure AS9100 compliance
Train and mentor employees on Lean principles
Drive continuous improvement projects (cycle time, productivity, inventory)
Act as a change agent to embed Lean culture

Qualifications

5+ years of Lean/Continuous Improvement experience
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Experience with Lean tools (VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED)
Basic CAD skills
Strong analytical and communication skills
Aerospace industry is a must.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
