Phlebotomist

Overview Duration: 07 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) Pay Rate: $21.69 – 23.25/hour (W2) (Based on experience and education) Job Summary The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for providing excellent patient care by performing blood collection (phlebotomy) and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, accurate, and comfortable experience while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform blood draws (venipuncture, capillary, paediatric & geriatric collections) Prepare and process specimens for lab testing Verify patient information and ensure accurate labelling of samples Maintain proper documentation and records Follow all safety, PPE, and company protocols Provide a professional and friendly experience to patients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Handle both clinical and forensic specimen collection Work independently while meeting daily deadlines Travel to different locations as required Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (required) Medical Assistant / Paramedic training (preferred) Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in some states) 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (including paediatric & geriatric) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks Basic computer and data entry skills Reliable transportation and willingness to travel Clinic includes paediatric patients May work in patient service centres, clinics, or doctors’ offices Benefits Pride-Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
