Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Observation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and document patient status, vital signs, and responses to treatment throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient transitions
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while adhering to safety and compliance guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Observation unit setting
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
