Android Engineer

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Android Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Android Engineer, you will be part of the Mobile Development Department supporting the Application Innovation Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Android Engineer

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Pay Range: 57-58/hr w2

What's the Job?

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications used by millions of users worldwide.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product owners, QA, and other engineers to deliver innovative features.

• Implement modern Android development practices using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and MVI Architecture.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, ensuring the best user experience and performance.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration to uphold quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in building Android applications with Kotlin and Java.

• Familiarity with Android development tools such as Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI.

• Experience working with REST APIs, Ok and RAML API documentation.

• Knowledge of modern architecture patterns like MVI and libraries such as Dagger, Coroutines, Flow, and RxJava.

• Strong understanding of testing frameworks including Espresso, JUnit, and WireMock, along with experience writing unit and integration tests.
