Dietary Aide

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at AdviniaCare Newport. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Responsibilities Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by the physician Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages Deliver meals on a timely basis Maintain visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes Adhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times Adhere to sanitation and storage policies and procedures Perform other duties assigned by the dining director Specific Requirements Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must be able to follow oral and written communication Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of dining service areas Must perform regular inspections of dietary services areas for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm Must be willing to handle residents based on their current maturity level Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into existing dietary practices Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public #J-18808-Ljbffr
