Job Summary The Customer Service Representative III (Senior Assistant Customer Service) represents Client to customers and acts as a critical liaison between the customer, sales, and operations teams. As the first point of contact, this role sets the tone for the customer experience, maintaining ongoing relationships across multiple accounts and plants. The position requires diverse knowledge of products, production planning, logistics, and inventory management. Major Job Responsibilities Business Excellence Fa cilitate quotes and provide pricing Create new item specifications and projects Manage accounts by processing orders/inquiries, scheduling demand, and ensuring delivery requirements are met Track order activity, monitor inventory, and alert staff/customers of potential issues Handle outside purchases for services and materials needed for customer projects Produce reports and share data with customers Support quality management by generating customer issues, researching, and troubleshooting People and Culture Develop skills through training and continuous improvement Collaborate with business owners to ensure customer satisfaction Serve as liaison between customers, sales, credit analysts, and collections Partner with production teams to review schedules and ensure on-time delivery Work with Quality Manager to resolve routine customer quality issues Align with plant leadership to support company initiativ es Critical Skills / Capabilities Att ention to detail – accuracy in following processes Customer orientation – focus on customer satisfaction and responsiveness Communication – proactive, respectful, and effective problem solving Collaboration – ability to work effectively with others Problem-solving – logical and systematic approach to routine issues Growth and results orientation – drive to learn and achieve productivity goals Organizational skills – ability to plan and prioritize tasks Time management – flexibility to balance tasks and meet deadlines Technical Skills Prof iciency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with ERP and CRM systems such as AS/400, Kiwiplan ESP/PCS/ULT/TSS, HRMS, Amtech, Sage, JD Edwards, Salesforce, EDI, and customer portals Other Qualifications Frequent use of hands/fingers for typing, grasping, and pinching Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 10 lbs Ability to quickly interpret and process large amounts of information Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience Requirements Re quired: Basic knowledge of operational procedures and tools Required: Customer service experience in manufacturing or related industries Preferred: 1–3 years of manufacturing industry experience Education Requirements Re quired: High School diploma or GED Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree Education: High School
