Project Description

Project is called "RTP". The client is looking to build a "Real Time Payments" platform. This project will ultimately be to build the plumbing so to speak internally for them, so that when the Fed goes live with their real time payments platform "Fed Now" they will be prepared. This is at the account level, not just debit level so think of a Paypal or Venmo application basically. It's building that framework so that they can offer that to their client base, which is mostly member banks across the Midwest. The project will have three iterations. First one would be to get them internally ready to connect with ITS Bank, then subsequent phases to introduce to their member base. From a development perspective they are trying to be Agile, but most definitely a hybrid waterfall/Agile shop. This would need to be a PM well versed in Software Dev projects. The development will be delivered offshore mostly so anyone with experience managing and coordinating offshore and remote teams would be helpful. This resource will own the program, and this project is high visibility so it needs to be someone capable of gaining shareholder trust and rally internal teams, etc. They will work closely with the product owner group, and also the Executive Shareholder so the right person would be confident/commanding and well versed to help drive toward success.
