Position: Accountant

Type: W2 contract, paid hourly
W2 Contract Pay: $25-30/hr
Role Summary:
- Support the Reconciliation Team by preparing daily & monthly reconciliations, primarily in excel or another automation tool.
- Research variances, match items accurately and communicate with business partners.
- Adhere to daily/monthly deadlines.
Requirements:
- Experience performing reconciliations by comparing internal data with external sources ensuring financial records match, investigating and resolving discrepancies, maintaining accuracy for financial integrity.
- Strong analytical skills, deadline motivated and detail oriented for financial accuracy and compliance.
- Clear understanding of debits/credits.
- Intermediate Excel.
Preferred:
- Financial/banking industry experience
- Degree in finance or accounting
